Cable cutters 315 mm with insulated cables KNIPEX cut cables reinforced with steel wires up to a diameter of 45 mm / 380 mm (e.g. 4 x 95 mm) in one-handed and two-handed mode. They are robust, practical, and stable. Thanks to the low weight (800 g), they are easy to handle and, due to the compact design (length 315 mm), they can also be used in confined spaces. The advantage is the innovative three-speed ratchet drive and the support surface for the possibility of support during cutting. They are unsuitable for cutting ACSR cables and wire ropes. They are made of special tool steel in a specific quality, forged, and oil-hardened.
