Cable cutter 200 mm with two cutting edges with dipped insulation, VDE tested KNIPEX are suitable for cutting cables made of Cu (copper) and Al (aluminum). On the other hand, they are not suitable for steel wire and hard-drawn copper conductors. An advantage are the hardened blades with precise grinding, which cut cleanly and smoothly without deformation. Thanks to the division of the cut into a preparatory cut (insulation sheathing in the front part of the cutting area) and a final cut (conductors in the rear part of the cutting area), it is possible to cut cables up to 20 mm with one-handed operation. Due to the favorable gear ratio and optimized blade geometry, little effort is required. They have an adjustable screw joint, self-locking. They are made of special tool steel of special quality, forged and oil-hardened.
