Electronics side cutters 115 mm forged with insulated handle type 1 KNIPEX represent precise pliers for the finest cutting tasks e.g., in electronics and fine mechanics. For soft and even opening, they contain a double spring with low friction. They also contain an integrated jaw hinge without slack. The hardness of the cutting edge is about 56 HRC. Glossy surface or high-gloss surface (only for version 2) in combination with a fine oil film provides good corrosion protection - no failures in the circuit caused by peeling of chrome parts. They are made of special tool steel of special quality, forged and hardened in oil.
