Digital paint thickness tester Fe/NFe PROFI AKUSTIK P-11-S-AL

The paint thickness gauge is designed for precise measurement of paint and varnish layer thickness, especially on motor vehicle bodies. Thanks to rapid contact measurement, it is possible to check the thickness of the paint across the entire vehicle within minutes. The measurement can reveal damaged parts that have been repaired with filler or poorly sprayed. The device measures layer thickness in micrometers. The dry coating thickness tester with a probe on an external cable allows for accurate measurement of the thickness of paint layers or other dry coatings on ferromagnetic Fe (steel materials) substrates or on non-ferromagnetic NFe (aluminum alloys, etc.) substrates. The tester additionally has a specially developed probe for measuring on convex and concave surfaces.

Use:
Single "click": original paint or one coat (0 - 170 micrometers)
Two consecutive "clicks": two layers on each other (170 - 350 micrometers)
One longer uninterrupted "click": several layers on each other like fillers + paints (350 - 1990 micrometers)
