Digital Fe/NFe paint thickness tester AKUSTIK MGR-11-S-AL

The paint thickness gauge is designed for accurate measurement of the thickness of paint and varnish layers, especially on motor vehicle bodies. Thanks to fast contact measurement, it is possible to check the thickness of the paint on the entire vehicle in a few minutes. By measuring, it is possible to detect damaged parts that have been repaired with a layer of filler or unprofessionally sprayed. The device measures the thickness of the layers in micrometers.

Paint thickness tester for accurate measurement of the thickness of paint or other coating layers on ferromagnetic (steel materials) or non-ferromagnetic (aluminium alloys, etc.) substrates.

Usage:
One "click": original paint or one coat (0 - 170 micrometers)
Two "clicks" in a row: two layers on top of each other (170 - 350 micrometers)
One longer uninterrupted "click": several layers on top of each other like putties + varnishes (350 - 1499 micrometers)
