Stage 1: desulfation: Focuses on strongly charged or lightly sulfated batteries that have low voltage and are resistant to activation. The MAGNETI MARELLI charger will start pulsing (charging) charging to keep the battery charged as long as the voltage is not restored and after charging does not reach the expected level. The goal of this stage is to save excessively discharged or lightly sulfated batteries and regenerate them.
Stage 2: fast charging: If the battery voltage is higher than the set level, the MAGNETI MARELLI charger delivers high charging current for fast battery charging until it reaches up to 75% charging. The goal of this stage is to charge the battery as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
Stage 3: Repair and analysis: When the voltage reaches the maximum safe level (preset), the MAGNETI MARELLI charger automatically stops the continuous high charging and starts charging the battery with a lower current. The purpose of this phase is to fully safely charge the battery.
Stage 4: Maximum disconnection charging: During this phase, the MAGNETI MARELLI charger automatically turns off when the battery is fully charged. The charger will continuously monitor the battery voltage to determine if a new charge is needed. The purpose of this phase is to fully charge the battery without overcharging it.
Stage 5: Maintenance: If the voltage falls below the preset level due to the self-discharge of the battery, the MAGNETI MARELLI charger starts charging with a low current to keep the battery fully charged. The cycle repeats as long as the charger is in "maintain floating" mode.
