Adjustable wrench XL, nickel-plated 400 mm KNIPEX represents a unique assembly tool now available in a length of 400 mm for tightening screws. It replaces various expensive, large open wrenches up to a size of 85 mm or 3 3/8". All wrench sizes can be smoothly adjusted up to the specified capacity using parallel guided jaws. Excellent for gripping, holding, compressing, and bending workpieces. Thanks to the reinforcement of hand strength in a ratio of 10 : 1, it has a very strong grip. Also, it has smooth jaws, for gentle mounting of quality screw connections made of brass, red metal, or stainless steel. Thanks to the full support without a gap, it ensures no damage to the edges of sensitive fittings. The lift between the jaws allows for fast tightening and loosening of screw connections on the principle of a ratchet with a pawl. It is adjusted by simply pressing a button directly on the workpiece. Made of chrome-vanadium electric steel, forged and oil-quenched.
