Adjustable pliers with multi-component handles KNIPEX of length 250 mm include a scale for setting the key size outside the workpiece. Smooth jaws serve for gentle assembly of surface-finished fittings and for tightening screws. The pliers are excellent for gripping, holding, pressing, and bending workpieces. They are adjusted by pressing a button directly on the workpiece. Continuous adjustment of all key sizes up to the stated capacity by means of parallel-guided jaws. Thanks to the reliable lock of the joint, there is no risk of unintentional resetting. The stroke between jaws allows quick tightening and loosening of screw connections on the principle of a ratchet with a pawl. The pliers are made of chrome-vanadium electrical steel, forged, and oil-hardened.
